Meaning : ‘She is the most auspicious one and the one who bestows auspiciousness upon all of the world. She is pure and holy. She protects those who surrender to her and is also called the Mother of the three worlds and is Gauri, daughter of mountain king. We bow down to Mother Durga again and again. We worship her.’

We dedicate ourselves to build the Durga Temple with the humble motto that “A temple is for All.” The temple should be a place for religious worship and celebratory occasions, and it should support activities for cultural, religious, and spiritual development based on the principals of Sanatan Dharm.

Our Vision

The Durga temple will be a primary center of Hindu religious and cultural activities in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, meeting the growing needs of its sects, and regional cultural groups. The facilities will be available to all community members who have faith and respect for the Vedic Scriptures and Dharma.
